Every neighbourhood has its superstars. Century City’s just happen to have fur, four paws and main character energy, and this September we’re finding out who deserves the crown.
Century City’s Top Dog is a new monthly competition, run in partnership with Absolute Pets, celebrating the pooches who make this neighbourhood home.
One winner a month and zero effort beyond a good photo and a proud owner.
How it works
- Follow along. Follow the Century City page and the Absolute Pets page on Instagram or Facebook.
- Snap a photo. Take a high-resolution photo of your dog somewhere in the Century City precinct. Indoor, at-home photos don’t qualify. The precinct needs to be visible in the shot.
- Send it in. Email your photo to IloveCC@centurycity.co.za along with your full name, contact details and your dog’s name. Entries only go to this email address. DMs and comment-section photos won’t be counted.
- One dog, one photo. Keep it to your best shot.
What you can win
- First 50 valid entries each month get a unique Absolute Pets Go Fetch! Discount code (10% off), sent by DM. It’s yours alone, so don’t pass it around.
- The top 5 finalists each receive a voucher for R50 off when you spend R350 or more at Absolute Pets, sent by email and redeemable in store or online.
- The monthly winner takes home I love Century City merchandise, a Century City’s Top Dog certificate, and an R350 Absolute Pets gift card.
Who picks the winner? You do.
Entries close on 18 September 2026 at midnight, whereafter five finalists are selected.
From 21 to 23 September 2026, the public then votes for their favourite over three days, through the comments section on Century City’s Instagram and Facebook. Most votes wins.
The winner will be announced on 25 September 2026 to the winner directly and on social media.
After that, the competition runs monthly from October 2026 onward with dates to be confirmed, so there’s always another chance to enter.
