A Festive Evening for the Whole Family

The magic of the season is returning to Ratanga Park on Saturday, 7 December, as Century City once again hosts its much-loved Carols in the Park. This annual celebration has become a highlight on the community calendar, drawing families from across Cape Town to enjoy music, laughter and festive cheer beneath the summer evening sky.

This year promises to be the most vibrant edition yet — filled with beautiful carols, delicious food, glowing lights, and unforgettable moments for all ages.

We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with the wonderful Planet Shakers once again.

A Musical Evening at Sunset

As the sun dips behind the skyline, the stage will come alive with a heartwarming line-up of classic Christmas carols and contemporary favourites with Planetshakers. Bring your picnic blankets, settle into a cosy spot on the lawns, and let the music set the tone for a memorable evening of togetherness.

Santa Arrives in Spectacular Style

Keep your eyes and ears open! Santa will be making his grand entrance at 18:00, adding a thrilling twist to a beloved tradition. His arrival is always a crowd-pleaser, and this year promises even more magic as he makes his way to Santa’s Village, where families can capture their festive season photos.

A Feast of Food, Treats and Festive Flavors

This year’s vendor line-up brings a spread of irresistible tastes and treats, perfect for families, foodies and little ones alike:

  • Party Starters Popcorn – slush, popcorn & candy floss tubs
  • Rack n Grill – burgers fresh off the grill
  • Unashamed Coffee – warm brews for the cooler evening air
  • Off the Menu – handcrafted ice creams

And fans of our favourite feathered hero are in luck! Captain Feathers will be making an appearance to spread joy and pose for photos.

A jumping castle and playgrounds will provide fun and entertainment for all ages.
