“There’s nothing quite like coffee to bring people together, and this International Coffee Week, which commenced on 1 October, our I Love Century City campaign celebrated just that.” says Lindsey Hankin, Brand & Marketing Manager for Century City Property Owners’ Association (CCPOA).

“Century City has always been home to a thriving coffee culture, from bustling morning queues for flat whites to quiet corners perfect for mid-day refills and catch-ups. This year, we invited our community to share their favourite coffee spots in the precinct, and your responses brewed up something truly special!”

You can find approximately 16 to 20 coffee shops and cafés in Century City, with the largest concentration located in Canal Walk Shopping Centre. This total includes multiple locations for some brands and smaller, independent spots.

Bootlegger Coffee Company has three locations, with the Century City Hotel Urban Square also serving Bootlegger Coffee.  Vida e Caffe has three locations and Xpresso Cafe has two locations inside Canal Walk.

  • Caffeine Antioxidant Serum, Caffeine and Essential Oil Body Scrub and Caffeine Enhanced Tissue Oil from Enough Beauty Health.
  • I love Century City merchandise, which includes a coffee mug, water bottle, T-shirt and cap.

“We were blown away by the number of entries and heartfelt nominations.” continues Lindsey. “Each post showcased what makes our precinct so unique: local baristas who know your order by heart, cafés that double as creative workspaces, and the simple joy of pausing for a moment over a good cup of coffee.”

From sleek espresso bars to leafy outdoor patios, it’s clear that Century City’s love for coffee runs deep, and that each café adds its own flavour to the vibrant community mix.

Coffee Competition Winner

And we have our winner!

Congratulations to our I Love Century City prize winner, Taryn, who shared their love for enjoying a Bootlegger coffee (accompanied by snacks) with her running and cycling friends after an active morning in Century City.

Thank you to our generous sponsors for supporting this initiative and a big thank-you to everyone who joined in, tagged their favourite spots, and helped us shine a light on the cafés that make Century City such a dynamic, connected place to live, work and play.

Even though International Coffee Week is over, the celebration doesn’t have to end! Keep supporting your local coffee spots, and keep sharing your love for all things Century City. Because around here, every week is Coffee Week.
