Developing our future leaders

“Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others.” -Jack Welch.

To maintain a highly effective precinct, we recognise the importance of having a well-equipped and skilled team. While our existing staff members are already well-qualified in their respective fields, such as environmental management and horticulture, our commitment to excellence drives us to continuously invest in the development of our staff and workforce. Our goal is to provide the highest level of service to our valued community.

Recently, some of our managers and supervisors completed a supervisory course offered by DYNA Training. This program was designed to enhance their leadership skills, and we are proud to announce that they excelled, ranking at the top of their class.

Verinique Anyster, Manager of the Intaka Island Eco-Centre, shared her perspective on the Dyna course:

“The Dyna course has been immensely valuable in bolstering my professional confidence and providing me with a deeper understanding of my role. This training has equipped me with a comprehensive toolkit, ensuring that I am prepared to tackle a wide range of challenges that may arise in the workplace. Additionally, it provided a fantastic platform for networking, allowing me to forge relationships that have the potential to last a lifetime if nurtured properly.”

We are dedicated to fostering the continuous growth and development of our team to better serve our community and maintain the excellence you deserve.
