On Garden Day, we invite you to take a break from planting, watering, weeding and mulching, and celebrate the outdoors instead.  So come on and join our garden!

On Sunday, 18 October, Ratanga Park is giving you exactly that: a day spent outdoors surrounded by plants, flowers, trees and water. Open from sunrise to sunset, enjoy a beautiful Sunday with us.

Garden Day has always been about setting down the spade and enjoying the growing things around us. This year, we’re doing it together. Bring your family, your friends, and your pooch (on leash please).

Spread out a blanket, find your patch of lawn, and let the day unfold at its own pace. Kids can run off their energy at the play areas and lawns.

Come dressed for the occasion

Most importantly, don’t forget the flower crown! Wear one, make one, or wear your best garden party outfit to match. Florals, pastels and straw hats all suit a day on the lawns.

Your picnic, your way
