Seventh Century City Run a great success

More than 60 participants took part in the seventh annual Century City Run, where the combined age of motorcycles and riders needed to exceed 100, from Century City.

The oldest bike and rider combination this year was Brian Wallace with a 1914 Douglas giving a combined age for man and bike of 166 while the oldest bike in the run was a 101- year-old BAT.

The combined ages of all bikes and riders who took part this year was just under 6000.

Riders were able to choose from one of three routes over tarred roads in the scenic Contermanskloof/Durbanville Winelands and beyond – 16km, 44km or 98km culminating at the Multi Motor Club in Parow.
