Transport

Century City is located adjacent to the N1 freeway that connects Central Cape Town CBD to the northern metropolitan suburbs and beyond.
By Road:
A collector road, adjacent and parallel to the N1 provides direct access from the freeway into the heart of Century City and sets a precedent for access convenience. Shoppers bound for Canal Walk Shopping Centre can drive over a steel bridge directly on to the upper levels of the shopping centre parking garage.
Alternative road access into the site is available from the Bosmansdam Road to the North, Sable Road (which also links to the N1 freeway) to the south and Ratanga Road to the West.
In addition, Century City is located in close proximity to both the N7 and M5 arterial roads putting it in easy access to both the West Coast and Southern Suburbs.
By Public Transport:
Century City is well serviced by the various modes of public transport. A primary public transport interchange operates off Ratanga Road and a second off Century Avenue.
Both have designated lanes for Golden Arrow buses, minibus taxis and the Century City shuttle bus and a terminus building with public toilets, waiting areas, public telephones, a ticket office and vending machines.
Commuter buses and minibus taxis are not permitted on the Century City road network and their operations are restricted to the transport interchanges.
Internal Shuttle Bus Service:
A regular internal shuttle bus service runs between the transport interchanges, Canal Walk and the Century Gate gateway with stops in between.
A nominal fare is charged for the internal shuttle service which operates seven days a week between 06h00 and 22h00 at 10 minute intervals during peak times and 15 minutes in shoulder periods.
Commuters are able to purchase daily tickets at R3 a ride or monthly tickets for R50.

The one is situated on the corner of Century Boulevard and Ratanga Road (referred to as Ratanga E-Parking) and the other is situated on Century Boulevard (referred to as Century Avenue E-Parking), opposite the Shell Garage on the Montague Gardens side of Century City.
