Due to COVID-19 pandemic and the prevailing Sate of Disaster containment and mitigation measures, the Century City Property Owners’ Association (CCPOA) held its first ever virtual AGM on Wednesday 24 June 2020.

“It was important to hold the AGM so that the CCPOA can continue to function efficiently and effectively with the required level of accountability.” says Chris Blackshaw, CEO of CCPOA. “It was strange not to be able to see all the familiar faces, but I knew that they were “out there” watching, listening and participating. I trust it won’t be too long before we can see each other again.”

54 Members were in attendance or represented, which accounted for just over 50% of the developed bulk in Century City.  Using Microsoft Teams, attending members registered in advance.  Chairman of the Board, Greg Deans, guided proceedings smoothly and members could raise the “hand” icon if they wanted to speak, as well as for voting.

Chris Blackshaw presented an Annual Review of Services and Operations, visually highlighting some of the key aspects of the past year, including how the CCPOA was managing the impact of the pandemic particularly regarding service delivery.

Century City developer, Rabie Property Group, reappointed their three Directors being John Chapman, Colin Green and Chris McMaster, with Colin Anderson as an Alternate Director to serve for the next two years.
