Dropping of Century City Canals water level
By now you may have noticed that the level of the water in the Canals has dropped quite dramatically over the last few weeks, but no need to panic!
The dropping of the water level was a necessary step in the routine maintenance of our Canal Edges surrounding our waterways.
Access to these canal edges can only be gained by dropping the water level by approximately a metre, the process of which has been closely monitored by our facilities and environmental teams.
We expect the canals to be back up to their normal levels when the winter rainfall sets in in the next few weeks.
We will also then resume our Ferry Ride operations from Intaka Island, for more information on the Intaka Ferry please click here.
