The Intaka Island Environmental Education Centre at Century City is seeking donations of machinery and equipment to help create a water exhibit to educate the 35 000 school children and other guests a year who visit the centre about the importance and use of water.

Cape Town has been announced as the host city of The Five A Side World Championships, the biggest amateur football tournament in the world. Taking place on 17 and 18 November, the tournament is set to kick off at the Century City Fives Futbol facilities and will attract over 280 international players from 32 different countries.
