Intaka Island is undergoing some “spring cleaning” with a clean up of the pathways and the vegetation on the Island, the replacement of the window blinds in the Lapa area, a now highly sought after birthday party and event location, and revamp of the vertical garden at the Eco-Centre.

for a site-specific original and durable public art mural

Artists are invited to submit a proposal for this exciting opportunity to provide a large scale work of art to be displayed on the abutment of a canal pedestrian bridge as part of the already established multi-faceted programme of outdoor artworks and educational exhibits known as the Century City Art Trail. Located immediately above the canal water, this permanent outdoor installation will be highly visible to the many pedestrians (office workers, shoppers, walkers and joggers) in the area.

2018 Five A Side Football World Championships heading to Cape Town

at Fives Futbol Century City

Cape Town has been announced as the host city of The Five A Side World Championships, the biggest amateur football tournament in the world. Taking place on 17 and 18 November, the tournament is set to kick off at the Century City Fives Futbol facilities and will attract over 280 international players from 32 different countries.

The MyCiTi bus service to Century City is to be enhanced from the end of September this year.

There are currently two trunk routes to Century City – T04 Du Noon and T03 Atlantis via Table View and three feeder routes - 251 Omuramba via Century Boulevard, 262 Century Gate via Century Way and 260 Century Gate via Edison Way to Milnerton Lighthouse.
