There was a total of 47 official participants with the oldest rider being Nevil Clark at 86.  He is to be congratulated on this great achievement. There were a further 5 or 6 random last-minute entrants who were not officially recorded but whose details were captured for future events.

The oldest bike was a 104 year old Douglas belonging to Brian Wallace.

The combined number of years of bikes and riders was 5554 with the CVMC having 15 riders and TOC 14.

There were 18 participants from other clubs/independent riders.

There was 1 Platinum Certificate, 3 Gold, 9 Silver and 27 Bronze.

The Senior award and trophy went to Barry South (173 years) and the Nipper award and trophy to Brian Wallace (31 years). Congratulations to them.

The Century Run went off smoothly in perfect and agreeable autumn weather and all marshals and officials as usual performed their duties well. The bring-and-braai at the end is always enjoyable and this one was no exception. Special thanks to those who arranged flags, bar facilities and firewood etc for the braai.

Of notable interest is the fact that 4 remaining members have completed all 11 Century Run. Hats off to them - John Linaker, John Perkins, Ben Utting, and Brian Wallace.
